The discovery flight exposes you to the flight training experience. You’ll start with a 30 minute preflight discussion and inspection where you’ll go over how the aircraft controls work and what to look for. Next, you’ll depart out to a practice area where the instructor will walk you through basic flight maneuvers and how to interpret the flight instruments. The flight will last for approximately 30 minutes and will be followed by a 20 minute discussion of the flight. We’ll provide a log book that the instructor will sign and will count toward your flight training. One guest is allowed to ride along.
The adventure flight takes you on a true aviation journey. With this package you will spend 45 minutes planning a flight with your instructor to the Voyager Village Airstrip near Siren, WI. After flight planning, you’ll depart Superior for Voyager, where you will take the controls and fly the airplane while your instructor teaches you basic aircraft control and navigation. You’ll then depart back to Superior where you’ll finish up your flying adventure. This flight exposes you to the possibilities of what you can do once you earn your wings. We also include a logbook with this package that the instructor will sign and count toward your flight training. The flight time is approximately 1 hour but you should plan for about 2.5 hours for the entire adventure. One guest is allowed to ride along.
The ultimate adventure flight takes you on a multiple stop cross-country journey. With this package, you’ll spend 45 minutes planning a multiple leg flight that will include a journey to the Apostle Islands with a landing on Madeline Island, then onto Cable, WI. Along the flight, you’ll take the controls and learn basic aircraft control and navigation where you’ll use aviation charts to find predetermined landmarks along the flight. The flight will last approximately 2 hours but you should plan for about 3 hours for the entire adventure. We’ll provide a logbook that the instructor will endorse toward your flight training. This is the total flying experience!
